Items on my To Do List:

Forum rules - Need to do this in conjunction with Dani, and probably run it by Shenanigans before pushing it live.
Extensions - We're probably good here for now? Although I'm annoyed I couldn't get the avatar cropping tool to work, but there's more important things to deal with.
Roles! I think I've got a good start to it? Dani, please feel free to edit all the Luridity stuff, I just put placeholders, although I did try to pick something that would mesh okay with your branding.
Badges - We can add more here, although I did put some. The "Vazdimet Fan" and "Luridity Fan" ones are functional and will assign the roles to view that section.
Tags - These need work. I think I put a good start on them, but between the sub-forum ones and the secondary tags I'm not sure what we want and what we don't. Also if you want something about politics we'll want to quarantine that to its own tag, and maybe have people opt-in with roles again.
Forum name, description, and welcome message - these can wait until after we set up the rest but we'll need to update them before we start advertising openly, I think? The placeholders I put in will work for now, though.

Okay, should be back to normal now.

Top level tags are public now.
So are gray tags, but privacy is set by the most restricted tag, so if all secondary tags are gray then it's public, otherwise it's members-only.

I added DMs. Currently everyone can send DMs to one person, while only certain roles can add to multiples or groups.

Should I open group DMs to all members, too? Or set a trusted member role for a certain number of posts and lock it to that? Or keep it as is? Looking for thoughts.

Looking for input on groups, too, and your thoughts. There's technically no system to send messages to the whole admin/mod group, but the flagging messages feature seems rather robust, and a mod reviewing could always do a DM back if the situation warranted, so I don't think it's necessary but let me know if you feel otherwise.

Also looking for testing of DMs! Send stuff, flag stuff, ignore people (admins are exempt so you can't ignore Dani and I, sorry) and see if you feel the way it reacts is sufficient, always happy for any help. We want this to be a safe space.

I've activated Pusher, which claims it will make this forum a more realtime experience.

Did you update the subscription extension to a new one? It still says following discussions.

It's not a bug, but I think it's interesting that the pizza poll doesn't appear under the list of polls that appear when clicking the polls button on the left sidebar on the front page. Is it two different extensions at work?

BasicDragon No, it's the same extension, there are two different kinds of polls. The one under the polls button is a global poll. The pizza one is a regular in-thread poll.

@BasicDragon I added a signature extension, too. Haven't tested it yet.

Added a signature! 🙂 …the height of the box where you can add a signature is only one line long. (just mentioning that so you are aware, people might complain that what they have written disappeared when they click enter. XD; )

Hm… is it possible for the font of the signature to be smaller and more pale? I don't think it should stand out as much as the post's content.

BasicDragon Yeah, it seems a little to similar to me, too. Unfortunately the only options in the extension are for limiting how many images can be included, and how many characters.

I may have to find another solution for signatures. This one hasn't been updated since 2023.

Aw, the most frustrating part of stuff like this that doesn't come prepackaged with everything is that extensions can be dropped willy nilly by the ones who supply them. ^^;
