My family has been demanding of my time lately, so I've been reading in my free moments since they're too small for anything else.
Also been playing Uno with the Year of Queer Lit discord, so working through my TBR to find books that fit my cards.
This week that means I'm catching up on Glynn Stewart's Peacekeepers of Sol series, and I forgot how queer his books are, especially for military Sci Fi. He does not advertise them as such, but it's queer normative everywhere, especially the more recently published books.
In this series, for example, it's got an MF relationship that formed between the two leads, but he's a bi demisexual and she's straight but also on good terms with her own transfemme ex. Meanwhile in this section of books the government leader they're helping is a lesbian but required to bear children herself so she's marrying her lover's gay brother (he offered because they are friends) to help her fulfill that requirement.
Anyway, they're also really good books.
